When you were a child, what was your dream job?
When I was a child, I dreamed of becoming a lot of people. These professions were chosen by my mind quite chaotically. For example, an artist, an accountant, a designer, a model, a manager of a giant company, an esports player. The desire to become someone in childhood was dictated purely by the motives of admiration.

Was it difficult for you to choose your future profession when you were a school graduate? How did you do it? Who helped you make the right choice? Which aspects did you take into consideration?
t was really very difficult to choose the direction of your profession. I was only fixated on the study stage. good grades, etc. and I didn't think about who I would work for. I knew that I loved mathematics and was interested in the legal field, and a little bit in economics. My mother helped me make a choice, she offered me possible options and I was already thinking about whether it suits me or not. I took into account the fact that I want a stable job, well-paid and that I will be able to understand this area well.

Watch the video and write out 7 tips on making the right decision. Which aspects do you consider the most important ones? Would you like to add some more aspects?

1. make of list your hobbies
2. discover what your are good at
3. identify your personality traits
4. determine what you want out of a career
5. talk to industry experts
6. research the jo❌(p)b market
7. discover your core values

I believe that all these principles are very important for choosing your profession. It cannot be said that one is more important than the other, they are the stages for identifying your dream job.
But I would also like to add the principle of relying on your desires and aspirations. Sometimes even if you realize that you are not as good at something as you should be, but you want to do it, then it's worth making an effort to become a professional in this business.

When you were a child, what was your dream job?
When I was a child I dreamed of becoming a ballerina, a dancer or a choreographer. Dreams of dancing were formed in me when I was 3 years old when I started dancing. Until I entered the university this dream did not leave my head.

Was it difficult for you to choose your future profession when you were a school graduate? How did you do it? Who helped you make the right choice? Which aspects did you take into consideration?
Until graduation I was sure that I would enroll in a choreographic university but you always need to have a backup option, and it was very difficult to decide on the choice of this option. I really liked economics at school so I decided that I would enroll in economics but when we started studying law I realized that I liked law no less. Thus, I began to study various fields and found economic security which combines both law and economics. And, of course, my parents had a huge influence on my choice who, although they were not against my admission to the choreographic university still wanted me to choose something more serious in their opinion.

Watch the video and write out 7 tips on making the right decision. Which aspects do you consider the most important ones? Would you like to add some more aspects?
1. Make of list your hobbies
2. Discover what your are good at
3. Identify your personality traits
4. Determine what you want out of a career
5. Talk to industry experts
6. Research the jop market
7. Discover your core values.
I believe that all aspects of this list are very important, and when choosing a profession you should not miss any of them. In addition I would like to add that item 2 of the list is not always mandatory because if you start thinking about a profession in advance then even if you are not strong in some field but are very interested in it, you can start actively developing in it and then you will become a real professional in this sphere.

Was it difficult for you to choose your future profession when you were a school graduate? How did you do it? Who helped you make the right choice? Which aspects did you take into consideration?
It was very difficult for me to choose a future profession when I ❌graduated from finished school. A year before ❌graduating from school, I thought a lot about choosing a university. My parents helped me the most in choosing a university and profession. We took into consideration the prestige of the university, reviews and location. The profession was chosen based on the expected future salary and relevance after graduation.

I chose the profession of economist. I am now studying for this specialty. I'm good at math, which is very important for an economist. I'm bad at humanities, like history. I was able to identify my personal qualities, they include attention to detail, good communication skills, management skills and the ability to work in a team. I’m passionate about counting numbers, monitoring the movement of money and building cause-and-effect relation. Based on all this, I believe that I chose the right profession.

Re: Module 6.16 What is your idea of a dream job?

When you were a child, what was your dream job?
When I was a child, I dreamed of being a famous singer, ballerina, champion and at the same time helping people. My dreams have grown into my hobbies. I really like singing because it helps me take my mind off my routine. I didn’t become a ballerina, but I still have a love for dancing, I trained in a professional group, and now I even go to dances at the university. To become a champion, my parents took me to synchronized swimming. I really liked this sport, it helped me strengthen my character, taught me to overcome difficulties, develop discipline, and of course developed my body, grace, and the ability to move beautifully. And I still love helping people. I constantly help my neighbor, even at an old age, to carry and lift bags to her apartment and go to the store. I take things to “Good Box” to help people and orphanages, and participate in volunteer movements.

Was it difficult for you to choose your future profession when you were a school graduate? How did you do it? Who helped you make the right choice? Which aspects did you take into consideration?
When I was a high school graduate, I didn’t know what awaited me in the big life. I didn’t know what I wanted to be, simply because my wishes for work are very non-standard. I would like to work hard, but not all day long, because there are so many interesting things in life, I want to try so many things, visit so many places. Routine work is not always easy for me; I want something interesting, but I want to be really good at it. At the same time, I want stability. However, I made the choice of my profession myself, and my parents supported me. The main aspect of my choice was stability and development. I decided that I wanted to develop in the field of economics and law, as these are the main components of a successful career in any profession, so I chose economic security.

When you were a child, what was your dream job?

Like many kids, I didn't have a specific "job" that I dreamed of. There were many options that I thought about for a long time. I dreamed of becoming a president and also an engineer (which I dreamed about until 9th grade)

Was it difficult for you to choose your future profession when you were a school graduate? How did you do it? Who helped you make the right choice? Which aspects did you take into consideration?

At the time of ❌graduation finishing my school studies, I already knew what I was going to be. I was on my way to it in 10th and 11th grades. During this time, many things changed in my life, including my attitude to many things. I'm not sure it's the right choice. It will be possible to judge this only in a few years. But I made this choice myself, although many people influenced it, too. These people include my parents and teachers, but my parents to a greater extent. However, they never forced me to do it, but on the contrary, they tried to make sure that I had a lot of options to choose from.
Choosing Economic Security, I was guided by such aspects as the fact that I can easily find a job, there is a certain variability in the choice of profession, also I know a person who works in this specialty, thanks to him I know some professional aspects, for example, the detective component.

I think that all aspects are important, but I would like to emphasize the 6th point, because it is very important. It is necessary to analyze the labor market in order to choose a profession that will be in demand. However, I did not follow this point.

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗷𝗼𝗯?
When I was a child, I had many desires to try different professions. My biggest dream was to become an architect and build extraordinary houses in my personal style. I also remember when I was a child I wanted to be a surgeon, but then I realised I didn't want to work in a hospital.

𝗪𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲? 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼 𝗶𝘁? 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲? 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻?
Oh yes, it was very difficult for me to choose my future profession. No one helped me with that. But I knew for sure that I was not interested in technical education. I approached the choice of profession philosophically and took into account all the necessary advantages. I realised that I wanted to study economics first of all, because it gives me a lot of opportunities, useful connections with people and an understanding of how the system of life in the country works. To be honest, I am still in an active search for a profession and I don't want to limit my studies to economics. I believe that it is never too late to find your true calling.

𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝟳 𝘁𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.

2. Find out what you are good at
3. Identify your personality traits
4. Determine what you want out of a career
5. Talk to experts in your chosen industry
6. Research the job market

𝗪𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀?
I consider the most important of the aspects mentioned to be "determine what you want out of a career". I am sure that before you start building a career you need to set clear expected results. This way it will be clearer what to do next.

𝗪𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗱𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀?
I want to add that you should not be afraid to make mistakes in building a career. If you notice your mistakes, then you will be able to correctly adjust your career trajectory.

I chose the profession of economist. I'm not very good at mathematics, but I love economics, which is much more important for my profession. I also like legal disciplines, I like studying laws. My personal qualities include responsibility, the ability to quickly learn new things and remember a large amount of information, and the ability to find a common language with people. When you were a child, what was your dream job?
As a child, I dreamed of becoming a singer, but one day I realized that it would be very difficult for me to achieve great heights in such a career. Both due to predisposition and due to capabilities.
Was it difficult for you to choose your future profession after graduation? How do you do it? Who helped you make the right choice? What aspects did you take into account?
When I was at school, I didn’t think much about my future profession. However, I liked: social studies, economics, legal aspects. My parents helped me make a choice, but did not impose their opinion. When choosing a profession, I was guided by the position in society that can be achieved through this profession. Status, authority and material well-being have always mattered to me.
Watch the video and write down 7 tips on how to make the right decision. Which aspects do you consider most important? Want to add a few more aspects?

1. Make a list of hobbies.
2. Analyze what you do better.
3. Identify your personality traits.
4. Think about what you want to achieve through your career.
5. Talk to industry experts.
6. Study the job market.
7. Discover your core values.
I think all the principles are very important, but in my opinion, the more significant principle is “think about what you want to achieve through your career.” Each action has its own meaning - you need to understand why you need this or that profession; because in most professions, as in life, many professional activities are monotonous. That is why it is important to determine why a profession is needed; without understanding the goal, it is easy to give up. Here we can say that there is an option to change your professional direction even after choosing, but this is time-consuming, and lost time cannot be returned.

To find the right career fit, I took into account such aspects as the prestige of the university, another city, whether the university provides a dormitory.

Despite all the advice, I believe that I still made the wrong choice when choosing a profession. Why? Because I don't feel at ease when it comes to studying our subjects. I would like to study something more creative more.
